European markets in financial instruments directive (MIFID)
On 1 November 2007, the European Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), Directive 2004/39/EC of the European Parliament, came into force. This Directive is, among other objectives, aimed at enhancing customer protection in an increasingly complex financial market, with an ever-more-sophisticated offer of investment products and services.
Its implementation will allow you to consolidate and adapt your decisions regarding the purchase and maintenance of these products and services. It will facilitate access to higher levels of information and provide a significant improvement in the quality of counselling services.
